  Our Story

That's What She Said...

His story:

The first time Nick saw Heather was on the playground of Montebello Elementry school: he was in 4th grade, she was in 3rd. He'd never seen anyone rock Umbro shorts and a side pony quite the way Heather did. "I'm going to make her my girlfriend" he thought to himself, so he went up to where she was playing Hop Skotch and proceeded to trip her and laughed as she fell. Isn't that how all great relationships start? Needless to say, Heather flipped him off (she was a classy 3rd grader) and gave him the silent treatment until high school (what can we say, the girl can hold a grude). They continued to cross paths over the years but the timing was always off.

Until one fateful day in the world of online dating (Plenty of Fish for any of you are single and looking to mingle) Nick came across Heather's picture. Without hesitation, he shot off a message to her: "I know you :)".

Smooth talker.

Nick was in grad school at the time and had to complete an interview with someone in the therapy field so he asked Heather if she'd meet him at Starbucks and answer a few questions. Even though pumpkin spice latte season had came and went, she agreed. Four hours later, they hugged goodbye after making plans to see each other the next day. On his drive home, Nick sent a group text to his family saying, "I've met the girl I'm going to spend the rest of my life with and I want you to meet her." Slow and steady wasn't going to win this race.

Six months later, Heather decided to make Nick the happiest man in the world and said "HELL YEAH!" to being his wife. Now they need you to join in their love, laughter, and happily ever after.

Heather is really hot and nice. I put a ring on it. We are getting married. I'm happy.
